Davis Odd Fellows New Year’s Eve Party
Ring out 2017 and ring in 2018 with bubbly champagne, noise makers, and great music at the “Odd Fellows New Year’s Eve Party with Mumbo Gumbo”.
The party will be held at the Odd Fellows Lodge Hall, 415 2nd Street, in Downtown Davis. Doors open on Saturday, December 31, 2017 at 8:30 p.m., the music starts at 9:00 p.m., and the party continues into Sunday, January 1, 2018. Tickets are $50 per person and sales are open to the general public. However, ticket sales are limited to 225 – and if sold out, will not be available at the door.
The price of admission includes dancing all night long to the soul, zydeco, Cajun and Caribbean stew that is Mumbo Gumbo, party favors, and the traditional champagne toast at midnight. Also included are a variety of delicious appetizers that will be served all evening, and desserts and coffee/tea later in the Lower Hall. No host bars will be open in both the Upper and the Lower Halls at the Odd Fellows Lodge Hall.
“We will feature a dance party in the Upper Hall with the popular Mumbo Gumbo,” said Juelie Roggli, Chair of the New Year’s Party, “and in the Lower Hall we will have a more quiet and casual setting where folks can eat, talk and watch the big screen television showing New Year’s Eve shows around the globe. This is our fourth year bringing this party to our community and it is always a huge success. We’re delighted to bring it back this year. Each year has been a sell-out – and we expect that again this year.”
Starting December 1 tickets will be available at Avid Reader Active in downtown Davis and Common Grounds in South Davis. Tickets may also be purchased online at https://OddFellowsNewYearsEve.eventbrite.com.
