Tickets go on sale starting Sunday, March 19, for the Eighth Annual “A Taste of Davis”. This event features 21 Yolo County restaurants, caterers, wineries, breweries, dessert and coffee houses, all under one roof. Guests are free to sample any and all of the food and drink from these purveyors for one low admission price. Tickets are available to the general public at $20 per person and can be obtained from two local vendors: Avid Reader Active in Downtown Davis or Common Grounds in South Davis. The Taste of Davis event, itself, will be held on Thursday, April 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Davis Odd Fellows Lodge Hall, 415 Second Street in Downtown Davis. “A Taste of Davis” is in its eighth year and is a sponsored event of the Davis Odd Fellows. The Davis Odd Fellows Lodge was established in 1870 and has been located at its present Second Street Hall since 1956. Over 275 local men and women are members of the Davis Odd Fellows Lodge.

Among the purveyors at this year’s Taste of Davis are: Berryessa Gap Winery, Blue Note Brewery, Bogle Vineyards, ChickPeas, Common Grounds, Davis Creamery, Gesche’s Gourmet Catering, Hunan Bar & Restaurant, Let Them Eat Cake, Maria’s Cantina, Papa John’s Pizza, Putah Creek Winery, Sudwerk, The Boiling Pot, The Lodge Catering, Three Mile Brewery, Tres Hermanas,Turkovich Family Winery, Wing Stop, Yeti Restaurant, and Zumapoke.

Major sponsor for the 2017 Taste of Davis is Pacific Gas & Electric Co. Super sponsors supporting the event are the Davis Enterprise and Davis Downtown Business Association. Every year the Davis Odd Fellows designate a beneficiary for some of the proceeds of this event. The Elderly Nutrition Program will be the beneficiary this year.
A Taste of Davis is just one of the many signature events the Davis Odd Fellows host each year.  With this event, an assortment of outstanding purveyors of fine food and drink are brought together to provide delicious samples for our guests.
